Is My Treatment Covered by Insurance?
Most medical and vision insurance plans provide coverage for things like routine eye exams and medically necessary treatment. Elective vision correction procedures, such as LASIK or premium lens options, are not usually covered by insurance. There are a number of options for patients with co-pays or out-of-pocket costs, including financing and using funds from medical spending accounts.
Affordable Financing
Through Alphaeon Credit, our patients are able to pay for services up-front and then choose the monthly payment plan that works for their budgets. This popular medical financing source also offers special rates occasionally.

Medical Spending Accounts
Medical spending accounts are a fantastic resource when it comes to paying for eye health and vision care. These accounts go by a variety of names: just a few are Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). Money from these accounts is sponsored by employers and is tax-deferred, and is designated specifically for medical expenses. For more information about how to use a medical spending account, contact your administrator.
